"I hope this email does not find you well"

▢ Indie Games

▢ Collectibles and tradeable items
Good, we got rid of the presentation, now LET US TALK.
(That's what humans do)
Maybe you got here by accident. To which I'll respond "accidents don't occur".
Maybe you got here clicking my X profile's link.
▢ In that case, simply follow me there and wait
until you're at least 68% sure we could be a good fit.
Maybe I contacted you directly through a DM or a personal email.
▢ Then, please... keep reading.
But:
Before you Keep reading.
If you're waiting for me to pitch you into buying my services, dont.I won't hardsell anything on my webpage simply because:
▢ I don't need to
▢ I want a healthy business relationship with my
clients. And a very long-term one preferably.Hence, in the following lines, I'll simply limit myself to explain you what is it that I do, how do I operate, and why. This way, we'll see each other at the bottom of the page if you like that which you're reading, and if you don't we won't.Which brings me to the next point...
You Don't Want Marketing, I understand.
My mother has been running a health-related business for more than 15 years now.She hasn't paid a dime in marketing (that I know of) and just recently started to become famous in the city she works at.Brands keep calling and begging her to promote their products.A total influencer she has become. And only by leveraging...
Referrals
And you know what? Referrals will always be king in business. But I think I've already mentioned how much time it took her to get to the point in which referrals started helping her truly scale:
15 Years
Let's be honest, you don't have 15 years to get to a 6 figure business. And even if you did, you don't want to and don't need to.And I know you probably have some doubts on the subject still. But as long as you've read this, we're good. Now, there's still one unanswered question:
Who Am I, and Why?
A lawyer, a pianist, an email writer...A lucky boy who chose to spend his time helping teams and projects grow just for the fun of it.Someone who enjoys exploiting market vulnerabilities and opportunities to sit and watch as crazy ideas get shaped into dazzling success.Don't get me wrong.I'm not guaranteeing success, I'd be naive to do so.But funnily enough, due to my David-like treat regarding Goliaths, I tend to be more involved in the ventures I get into than half of the team members I work with. And I obviously enjoy my job way more than they do.I know that's a bold statement from someone who has worked with a handful of startups. But that can only be true because...
I Love Risk.
Not YOUR risk, but mine.Maybe it is because I'm still in my 20s but I like proving people wrong. And I believe is any marketer's job to challenge his/her client's beliefs in an attempt to push them towards the next level. And that's what I always expect from my clients in return.which brings me to the next point:
Working Fast.
The faster I can launch and test, the faster I can get to the benchmarks, and the more benchmarks I can add to the project. Thus, I need to work with clients that allow me to work TOO FAST.And by 'TOO FAST' I mean WAY TOO FAST.
===
People don't usually get what fast means in business and marketing. This is a constant competition. And a bloody one too.Every single day you're not acquiring clients, other people are. They are acquiring YOUR clientsAnd some clients I've worked with seemed not to care about it.I don't want to tap into any kind of "scarcity mindset" here. But your success or lack of it is directly proportional to how fast you can react to things. And when I'm working with my cleints, they must understand that I'm betting all my earning on how fast I can deliver. That's a fact. Now, another caution here:
I Tend to Be Too Human
You may have realized that this page is basically us having a conversation here.Well, maybe it's a bit of a monologue at this point, but I'm still talking to YOU.And this is my style: ▢ I like treating my readers as in-real-life people sat
next to me with whom I'm trying to share a
particular insight.I'm not into writing like a robot.I write like a human. And I've already redirected my clients to ChatGPT a couple of times when sounding like a heartless AI is what they wanted me to sound like.Which reminds me of my next topic:
Everyone Has A Particular Voice
And it's my job to figure out and learn which one is yours. But again, we're humans.Even if you're a 200 people corporation. That's 200 humansAnd I'll never agree to sound like an AI under any circumstances.Well, maybe there's one scenario...
It's NOT About Your Current Cash Flow, It's About Your Potential Cash Flow.
Something that happens to me a lot, specially on the 'Indie Games' department, is that some people won't contact me even when they've already visited my website 31+ times because they don't feel they could afford me.And to that I say: If you're a Startup you probably don't. BUTI've worked with a handful of startups who had that very same problem.Wanna know... HOW?We diluted it.It makes no sense at all for me to come here and say 'I can 'Help you make money' only for me to stop helping you when you don't have.If I can help you make money, I can help you make the money you need to pay me.And anyone who says otherwise is a scammer or LAZY.And as I said earlier: ▢ I like complicated stuff. Now, if after that you still don't want to pay me that's when I'm authorized to send you a ChatGPT prompt. And the reason why I like to operate that way it's simply because...
I Love My Job In A Way You Cannot Possibly Understand.
Marketing is competitive by nature.Us marketers need to: ▢ Keep a constant eye on our competition.
▢ Steal ideas and counter-strategize se we don't get
pushed out of the market.
▢ Always be weary of new competitors on the rise.
▢ Constantly look out for any market trend in order
to exploit it before anybody else.
▢ Play our part in the 'fight for your client' arena on
a daily basis.
▢ Always be testing and optimizing in order to
to prevent us from falling from the rankings and
potentially losing half our clientele.Marketing and copywriting will always be required on a business.Even if you've already got your landing page, your lead magnet, your email sequences and socials in action, you'll need to replace them sooner than later.50 years ago copy run for years. Now it only runs for months before data drops. And crazy in-house job addicted copywriters like me will always be required by savy businesses to keep being competitive on their respective market.Do you still believe you can handle me as a partner? Then, by all means:
Oh, and by the way, some things to keep in mind: ▢ I never operate with more than 3 clients at the
same time. If you feel like this is for you then book
an appointment as soon as you can. Otherwise you'll
have to wait for a decade before you get to know me. ▢ If you still feel like this is way too much of a risk
for you, keep in mind that I normaly work on a
comission-based DEMO with no upfront costs. That
way you get to know my results before you commit
on something bigger, and if you don't like the
results, forget about the comission. It'll be on the
house.
Have a nice day. Regards, —Israel C.
